Bahrain Mirror: The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said during his Eid al-Fitr sermon on Monday (June 26, 2017) that the issues of Yemen and Bahrain are "a major wound in the Muslim world."
Khamenei called on the Muslim world to provide their support to the people of Bahrain, Yemen, and Kashmir, which he described as oppressed.
According to Mehr News Agency, Khamenei talked in his Eid al-Fitr prayers sermons about regional issues, including the topics of Bahrain and Yemen.
"There are many wounds in the body of the Muslim world, whether in Yemen or Bahrain", Khamenei said, calling on the Islamic scholars to adopt a stance in the face of events occurring in some Muslim countries, even if it provoked the resentment of tyrant rulers.
"As we openly declare our position towards friends and enemies, the Muslim world must follow this path in declaring its position explicitly," the Iranian Supreme Leader went on to say.
"The Muslim world should openly support the Yemeni people, declare innocence from the oppressors who launched the aggression against the Yemeni people during the month of Ramadan. The issue is the same for the people of Bahrain and Kashmir," Sayed Khamenei said.
