Parliament Proposes up to BD 400 Fine on Any Passport with Unofficial Stamps

Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini Parliament heads towards approving a legislative amendment in the law of passports. This would impose a penalty of no less than BD 50 and no more than BD 400, on anyone who deliberately sabotaged a part of his passport, or added any unofficial writings, stamps, drawings on the passport without permission.
The Head of Parliamentary Foreign Affairs and National Defense and Security Committee signed the legislative amendment, and it is scheduled to be addressed during next Tuesday's session.
