Bahrain MoI’s Son Presents Credentials to US President as Ambassador in Washington

Bahrain Mirror: The son of Bahraini Minister of Interior, Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, presented his credentials to US President Donald Trump as Ambassador of his country in Washington, on Saturday July 22, 2017.
Bahrain's King appointed Abdullah bin Rashid as Head of Bahrain's diplomatic mission to the US a month ago. The news ambassador (35 years old) was governor of the southern governorate, after he was head of Human Resources at the General Organization for Youth and Sports.
President Trump congratulated the newly appointed Ambassador on his appointment to this important post and praised Bahrain- US ties as having always been model relations in terms of vital strategic partnerships across sectors, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
President Donald Trump also praised the "clear picture Bahrain and US have drawn up at the international level as two key allies in all domains and commended the remarkable model of democratic rule in Bahrain that deserves to be emulated by other countries in the region."
