CBB Subscribes New Issue of Short-Term Islamic Leasing Bonds

Bahrain Mirror: The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) announced that issue number 144 (ISIN BH00077UV743) of the short-term Islamic leasing bonds, Sukuk Al-Ijara, that are issued by the CBB on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain, has been subscribed.
Subscriptions worth BD 26 million were received for the BD 26 million issue, which carries a maturity of 182 days.
The expected return on the issue, which begins on August 10, 2017 and matures on February 8, 2018, is 2.52% compared to 2.45% for the previous issue on July 13, 2017. CBB noted that the issue has been subscribed by 100%.
