Bahrain Mirror: Hundreds of citizens took part in peaceful protests in different Bahraini villages as Bahrain's Independence Day approaches.
Demonstrators held on Friday (August 11, 2017) anti-regime slogans and called to put an end to Al Khalifa monopoly over power and release the political prisoners.
Demonstrators also condemned putting Sheikh Isa Qassim under house arrest, demanding to stop targeting him and the Shia sect.
The Bahraini authorities don't commemorate the withdrawal of British occupation from the country on August 14, 2017, and considers the Accession Day a national day in Bahrain.
