Bahrain Mirror: The head of the National Institute for Human Rights (NIHR), Saeed Al-Faihani, said that the institute is currently preparing a schedule of visits to the centers of reform and rehabilitation and pretrial detention centers, which will start this month and until next December.
He further stated that these visits aim at improving human rights and highlighting the efforts of the institute, as well as following up the issues that take place inside the rehabilitation and detention centers.
It is noteworthy that international human rights organizations doubt the institute's neutrality, as the members of the NIHR Board of Trustees are appointed by Royal Orders.
