Saudi Court Ratifies Death Sentence against Abdulkareem Al-Hawaj

Bahrain Mirror: A Saudi court ratified on Monday (September 11, 2017) a death sentence issued against youth Abdulkareem Al-Hawaj, from Al-Qala'a village situated in the Qatif region of the Eastern Province.
Activists said that the file case was sent to the Ministry of Interior to execute the sentence, noting that Al-Hawaj was sentenced to death over political charges.
Al-Hawaj was 16 years old when he was arrested.
Activists warned that Al-Hawaj and dozens others from the Eastern Province, who belong to the Shia minority, face the risk of being executed at any moment.
