Bahrain Mirror: The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) expressed deep regret over Qatar's withdrawal of the citizenship of Talib bin Mohammed bin Lahoom bin Shuraim Al-Murrah, along with his 54-member family.
The NIHR called on the Qatari government to cancel its "arbitrary" decision and to respect the freedoms of opinion and expression, which are guaranteed by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and all relevant international human rights conventions and instruments.
It is to mention that Bahrain has revoked the citizenships of more than 400 dissidents who belong to the Shia majority. However, the NIHR whose members are assigned by royal decrees, didn't issue any statement about them.
