UAE Minister: Unified Gulf Train Project Postponed 3 Years

Bahrain Mirror: UAE Minister of Infrastructure Development Abdullah Al-Nuaimi announced that it was decided to postpone the work of the "Gulf train" railway project to 2020-2021 instead of next year 2018, reported Saudi Al-Hayat newspaper.
For his part, Asharqia Chamber Land Transport Committee Chairman and member of Board for the Arab Union for Land Public Transport, Bandar Al-Jabri, told the newspaper that the postponement will be positive for the GCC States, and comes in line with the visions of the GCC countries, which will get low and convenient prices. Al-Jabri also pointed out that the project will represent an important branch to Saudi Arabia, especially after revealing the Kingdom's 2030 vision.
