Bahrain: Needed Legal Measures will be Taken against Practices that Harm Ashura

Bahrain Mirror: The Director General of the Police Directorate of the Capital Province warned that the Ministry of Interior will not allow to make use of Ashura occasion to break the law, stressing that "needed legal measures will be taken against any practices or actions that harm Ashura."
In a press release, the director general said that the interior ministry took all needed actions and measures to secure Ashura occasion, and set an integrated security plan in cooperation with the competent parties to guarantee the public security and order. He went on to say that the safety of the participants is among the most important priorities.
He further stated that they will not allow anyone to make use of this occasion to break the law, indicating that needed legal measures will be taken against any practices or actions that harm Ashura, the civil peace or social fabric.
