Speedy Trial for Suspect Accused in Traffic Accident that Killed 3 Citizens

Bahrain Mirror: Traffic Prosecution President Hussain Al Buali said that the prosecution commenced its investigations in the traffic accident that happened on 25/9/2017 on Khalifa bin Salman Highway that resulted in killing of three citizens and caused damages to the property of others. The prosecution investigated the suspect, the driver who caused the accident, and arrested him pending investigation. It also ordered that he be referred detained to the competent court over the charges of unintentional murder, causing damages to public and private properties and other related traffic offences. The court is to consider his case on 3/10/2017.
Eyewitnesses explained that a Bahraini was driving a "Ford" car and hit another "Nissan" car driven by a Bahraini. The two drivers descended from their cars along with other two witnesses to check on the cars and talk to each other. At that time, a Bahraini driving a "Ford" car hit the three people due to his reckless driving; killing the owner of the "Ford" and the two witnesses. Meanwhile, the "Nissan" driver survived, sustaining minor injuries.
