Bahrain Embassy in Washington Offers Condolences to Bassiouni Family

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain embassy in the USA extended condolences to the family of Mahmoud Cherif Bassiouni, the Chairman of the Bahrain Independent Commission of Inquiry (BICI), who died at the age of 79, after struggle with illness in Chicago.
The embassy said in an official statement that a delegation from Bahrain embassy in Washington paid a visit to the family of Bassiouni, to extend condolences on his death. The embassy stressed that "Bassiouni presided Bahrain Independent Commission of Inquiry (...) and he asserted during his last visit to Manama in May 2016 that the Bahraini government had been able to surmount 2011 incidents through a comprehensive system of reforms and effective procedures under the ongoing royal reform project."
