Bahrain Mirror: The Sixth High Criminal Appeals Court issued a 7-year jail term verdict and citizen revocation against a suspect accused of training to use weapons and explosives in Iraq and Iran.
The first-instance court had sentenced an appellant and another suspect to 10 years in prison and revoked their citizenships. The court, however, acquitted him of the charges of establishing terrorist cell and joining "14th February coalition" for not being satisfied by the evidence of the Public Prosecution. The papers did not contain anything which indicates that the suspects have joined the group or shows links between the suspects and group.
