Bahrain Mirror (Exclusive): Al-Jazeera TV (November 4, 2017) scoffed at Bahrain's imposition of visas on Qatari citizens, saying "Qataris would no longer be able to ski on the Mountain of Smoke."
In the last episode of the satire program, "Above Power", hosted by journalist Nazih Al-Ahdab (November 3, 2017), Al-Jazeera addressed Bahrain's decision to impose visas on Qataris, saying that Qatar would not reciprocate. The episode also highlighted Bahrain's dependence on Saudi Arabia, sarcastically stating that what is expected of Qatar is to become another "Bahrain".
The satire show mentioned a tweet by Bahraini Foreign Minister Khalid Al Khalifa, who openly admitted that the four countries are "besieging" Qatar. The four countries (Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates and Egypt); however, have always tried to deny the siege.
Al Jazeera also published clips of somewhat contradictory interviews by Bahraini Abdullah Junaid and Bahraini MP Jamal Buhassan on the Qatar crisis, also pointing out how the Israeli Channel 10 interviewed Abdullah Junaid.
