Bahrain Mirror: Bahraini Interior Ministry forces raided the headquarters of the Islamic Al-Tawiyah Society in Diraz, witnesses said on Wednesday (November 8, 2017).
Al-Tawiyah Society is one of the prominent groups linked to the Shiite majority in the country. It was dissolved by a Justice Minister decision last year, and its headquarters was placed under judicial guard.
The reasons behind the raid are yet to be revealed. Lawyer Ibrahim Sarhan said that a raid on the premises cannot be carried out without a judicial warrant, since it is under judicial guard.
