2017-11-15 - 2:05 am
Bahrain Mirror: The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) said that it attended the public trial sessions of citizens before a military court.
The institution did not explained if it attended the secret trial sessions of defendants accused of targeting facilities affiliated to the Bahrain Defence Force, however, it said that the military court abided by the "basic principles of human rights and legal guarantees as well as the fair trial guarantees"
The military jurisdiction had banned reporting about a case in which civilians are accused based on political background and changed the sessions to "secret" ones.
