Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Chief of Public Security Tariq Al-Hassan said on Wednesday (November 15, 2017) that the Ministry of Interior arrested an individual whom it accuses of being responsible for the police bus blast that happened last month.
The interior minister announced on (October 27, 2017) the death of a Pakistani policeman Salman Anjam, and injury of nine others in a blast that targeted their bus in Jidhafs.
Al-Hassan claimed that the arrest of the individual foiled a major plot to target public personalities in Bahrain and launch attacks with explosives on three oil pipelines.
The government refuses to meet the demands of opposition in establishing commissions to probe into the security incidents announced by the ministry of interior.
International human rights organizations say that Bahrain uses torture to extract convicting confessions from suspects.
