Bahrain Mirror: Prime Minister Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received the newly-appointed US Ambassador to Bahrain, Justin Hicks Siberell, at the Gudaibiya Palace.

During the meeting, the PM stressed the solid strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the USA, indicating "the US Administration's understanding of the challenges facing the region, particularly regarding countries' security and stability."

An official statement said that the meeting reviewed "the latest regional and global development".
