Bahrain Mirror: Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi expressed concern about the health condition of top Bahraini Shia cleric Sheikh Isa Qassim, holding the Bahraini regime accountable for consequences of any delay Sheikh Qassim's treatment.
In a statement on Wednesday (November 29, 2017), Qassemi pointed out to information that talked about Sheikh Isa Qassim's health deterioration and preventing him from treatment, saying "By imposing severe restrictions and keeping Sheikh Qassim under detention, Bahraini officials have restricted his access to medical treatment and doctors."
Qasemi further stated that the "continuation of adopting security approaches by Bahraini officials will make conditions more complicated," urging international bodies and organizations to intervene to lift the siege on his house.
