Bahrain Mirror: The High Appeals Court commuted one-year jail verdict issued against a Bahraini woman, who tried to leak drugs to her detained brother, to six months only.
A first-instance court has sentenced the suspect and her brother to one year in prison and fined each one of them 1000 BD.
A notice was received on March 2, 2016 stating that during a visit in the Reform and Rehabilitation Center, a Bahraini woman was found giving narcotics to her detained brother.
The public prosecution accused the first suspect of providing her brother with narcotics in the Reform and Rehabilitation Center and admitting stuff considered illegal by the administration.
