Bahrain Mirror: A Bahraini appeals court upheld on Wednesday (December 20, 2017) a verdict sentencing Hajar Mansour (49 years) and her son Sayed Nizar Nehme Al-Wadaei (19 years) to 3 years in prison. The court also sentenced Hajar Mansour's nephew Mahmoud Marzouq (30 years) to one month in jail and 100 BD fine over a case of "putting hoax bomb in A'ali".
Hajar Mansour is the mother-in-law of the UK-based Sayed Ahmed Al-Wadaie. Human rights organizations say that she was targeted due to her son-in-law's human rights activism.
