Askari Imams Campaign for Blood Donation Collects 172 Blood Units

Bahrain Mirror: The seventh Askari Imams campaign for blood donation managed to collect 172 blood units, in a blood drive organized by the Charitable A'ali Society, the Bahrain Society for Sickle Cell Anaemia Patient Care and the A'ali Health Center.
Head of the Charitable A'ali Society, Adel Al-Sitri, said that 27 persons benefited from the Vitamin D test. He thanked the Aster Medical Center for providing its team to work in the campaign, along with the staff of the Central Blood Bank as well as the A'ali Health Center headed by Dr. Mona Al-Taho.
For his part, the Board of Directors Chairman of the A'ali Club, Ali Hussein Al-A'ali, said that the Club's cooperation and participation along with the Society in the organization of the blood drive comes within the framework of coordination between the official bodies to support and maintain the blood bank stocks, offering what is needed, stressing on the "Club's faith in the humanitarian goals of this wonderful activity and reinforcement of a principle that promotes rapprochement between the people of Bahrain.
