Bahrain Mirror: The Sixth High Criminal Court commuted the life term verdict issued against a suspect accused of attempting to murder two policemen and burning their patrol to 15 years in jail.
A first-instance court had sentenced 16 suspects to life in prison and sentenced two others to 10 years in jail over the charges brought against them.
The authorities claimed that the suspects burnt tires on the public street, threw stones at the police patrol, breaking its windows, and hurled Molotov against it, leaving two injured policemen.
The authorities allege that they reached the suspects through "investigations and confidential sources".
