Life Term Sentence to 10 Defendants, Citizenship Revocation to 11 in “Nuwaidrat Warehouse” Case

Bahrain Mirror: The Fourth High Criminal Court presided over by judge Khalifa Al-Dahrani issued life term sentences against 10 defendants accused in "Nuwaidrat warehouse" case.
The court fined the first, second and third suspects 300 BD, handed down 10-year jail term to the 11th suspect, revoked the citizenships of all suspects and ordered the confiscation of seized items.
It is to mention that the first suspect in the case, Sayed Mortada Al-Sanadi, is currently outside Bahrain.
Chief of Bahrain's Anti-Terror Crime Prosecution, Attorney-General Ahmed Al-Hammadi, had previously announced that the public prosecution concluded its investigations in the case of manufacturing and possessing explosives and arms in Nuwaidrat warehouse. The prosecution referred 11 suspects, seven in custody and four fugitives abroad, to court on charges of forming and joining a terrorist group, possessing explosive materials and devices, firearms, and training on using them, adding that it was all for the purpose of committing terrorist activities in the Kingdom.
