Bahrain Arrests Shiite Cleric to Execute 6-Month Jail Sentence

Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini authorities arrested on Tuesday (January 2, 2018) Shiite cleric Mahmoud Al-A'ali to execute prison sentence.
A Bahraini court upheld 6-month jail term against Sheikh Al-A'ali over expressing support with the highest religious authority in Bahrain Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim, after his citizenship was revoked.
Bahrain arrested a large number of Shiite clerics over taking part in the sit-in held outside Sheikh Isa Qassim's house in Diraz to express their condemnation over revoking his nationality and putting him to trial.
