Bahrain Cassation Court Adjourns Sentencing Hearing in Maher Al-Khabbaz's Case until January 29

Bahrain Mirror: The Court of Cassation in Bahrain adjourned on Monday (January 15, 2018), the sentencing hearing of youth Maher Al-Khabbaz who is on death row until January 29.
"The sentencing hearing of detainee Maher Al-Khabbaz and his companions has been delayed until January 29. We plead Allah to grant them immediate ease and take revenge for us on all those who oppressed us," said Maher's brother, Ahmed Al-Khabbaz.
The defendants in the case are 9, four of whom are Maher, Fadel, Mohammed and Mortada Al-Khabbaz, along with Isa and Ibrahim Shabib, Falah and Fuad Fadel and Khalil Al-Qassab.
Bahrain faces pressures from human rights organizations to stop death penalties issued against more dissidents after the execution of three opponents of the regime on January 15, 2017.
