Bahrain Mirror: The Fifth Minor Criminal Court issued on Wednesday (January 17, 2018) a 3-year jail term against a Bahraini (52 years) over insulting a Bahraini judge and threatening to kill him, after the judge bound the Bahraini man to pay 402 BD for an Asian worker, who used to work for the man, and to issue him an end of service certificate.
The defendant, an owner of an institution for electrical equipment, got angry after the verdict against him was issued. He knew the name of the judge from the court's employees and posted 27 tweets on Twitter in which he insulted the judge and threatened to kill him.
