Bahraini Oil Minister Says Raising Petrol Prices is "Prophet Mohammad's Approach"

Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini Minister of Oil Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa said on Tuesday (January 23, 2018) that lifting subsidies on petrol is an approach that Prophet Mohammad adopted.
Commenting on the increase in petrol prices, he stated in a television interview that Prophet Mohammad refused to put fixed prices and said that Allah puts the prices, stressing on the necessity to link petrol prices to international markets.
Bahrain raised the petrol prices in a measure that prompted an outrageous reaction on the onset of the year.
King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa appointed in May 2016 the son of BDF Commander as Minister of Oil.
