Bahrain Mirror: The Head of Bahrain's Public Security, Tareq Al-Hassan, received a delegation from the UAE Ministry of Interior, headed by Hamad bin Ajlan Al-Amimi, Director General of the Federal Criminal Police, a meeting attended by the Assistant Head of General Security for Operations and Training and Director General of the General Department of Investigation and Criminal Evidence.

An official statement said that during the meeting they discussed the importance of "developing security cooperation and coordination, which will contribute to the exchange of expertise, providing high security services and development of police work."

The Bahraini head of public security briefed the UAE Interior Ministry delegation on the success of the security services in Bahrain in foiling "a number of crimes that the terrorists intended to carry out, including the assassination of officials and public figures, as well as the targeting of security men and burning and destruction of oil facilities with the aim of striking the national economy." He further claimed that these "cells" are linked to elements "residing in Iran who coordinate with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard for training and providing the necessary support and funding."
