BAC Issues New Tender to Construct Security Fence Aiming at "Tightening Security Control" on Airport

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain Airport Company (BAC), the operator and managing body of Bahrain International Airport (BIA), issued a new tender to construct a security fence in order to develop the perimeter of the current security fence in the airport.
The project is called CP3 and it aims at tightening and improving security on the general location of Bahrain International Airport. The improvements include the installation of more lighting units and surveillance cameras on the new fence. These improvements should meet all the security standards and requirements related to the ongoing program of modernizing Bahrain International Airport whose cost reaches $1.1 million.
The project was implemented after finishing the first stage in 2017, which was the demolition of the old unsafe and unsecure buildings related to the airport. This stage was successfully finished in March 2017.
The tender sets 24 weeks as the project's total period.
