Gulf Air Says 39 New Aircraft to Operate in April

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Commerce Minister and Gulf Air Board of Directors' Chairman, Zayed Al-Zayani, said 39 new airplanes would start operating in April.
"Expansion does not mean an increase in expenses," noted Al-Zayani. The company receives regularly sizable subsidies from the government.
Gulf Air is facing significant financial losses due to administrative and financial corruption and stiff competition from other Gulf companies.
