Bahrain: Tarbeia Islamic Society Launches Campaign to Collect Money for Opposition in Syria

Bahrain Mirror: The (Salafist) Tarbeia Islamic Society launched a new campaign to collect money for opposing groups in Syria, under pretext of "humanitarian assistance and relief".
The society said on its Twitter and Facebook accounts that it launched on Tuesday (February 27, 2018) "Al-Mathna campaign to relief Ghouta with 200 thousand BD (about $532 thousand)," indicating that it receives donations in its headquarters in Um Al-Hassam or any of its branches in Bahrain.
In another post, the extremist society, published photos for one of people working in the society with a bunch of money next to him, saying that a woman donated 20 thousand BD (about $53 thousand) to send them to Syria.
The Salafist society has launched since 2011 number of campaigns to collect money and send to Syria. Meanwhile, photos showed Salafist Bahraini leaders in Syria next to armed groups in Syria. Another video showed one of "Suqour Al-Sham Brigade" members thanking the Bahraini delegation for its support.
