Bahrain Arrests 6 including Anti-Cybercrime Dept. Employee on Charges of Managing “Na’eb Na’eb” Twitter Account, Says Activist

Bahrain Mirror: Activist Yousef Al-Jamri said that the authorities arrested 6 citizens over charges related to a Twitter account called "Na'eb Na'eb", including an officer at the Ministry of the Interior and a member of the Anti-Cybercrime Department.
Al-Jamri said in a press release that the detainees were Mohammed Al-Shorouki, Abdullah Yousif Al-Maloud, Khalid Mohammed Mohammed, Rashid Saad Al-Dosari (cybercrime officer), Fahad Saleh Al-Shammari and the Interior Ministry officer Abdulaziz Mohammed Matar.
Al-Jamri added that Abdul Aziz Mohammed Matar, one of the most prominent defendants in the management of the account, is a former athlete and an former officer who was fired from the Ministry of the Interior. He trained at the Change Academy with the editor-in-chief of Al-Watan newspaper and he was a former candidate. He also worked at the Interior Ministry as "Hackers". He is also close to a senior figure and receives a monthly salary for his work.
The authorities in Bahrain did not comment on the matter, but the former hardline MP Mohammed Khalid said that a final verdict was issued against Rashid Saad Al-Dosari on charges of publishing false information and discrediting Khalid through his account on Twitter, adding that he will file a new lawsuit to claim his civil right against him (Rashid Saad Al-Dosari) and the rest of the detainees on charges of insulting him by managing the Na'eb Na'eb account.
