Muharraq Municipality Launches Inspection Campaigns to Remove Vendor Stands

Bahrain Mirror: Al-Muharraq Municipality carried out extensive inspection campaigns, including the vendor stands of shops located on the main road in Al-Muharraq, Qulali, Al-Dair and Samaheej on Monday (March 12, 2018).
The Municipality said in a press statement that these campaigns come within the framework of the joint efforts of the municipality in cooperation and coordination with the relevant authorities to implement the law and reduce the violations of shops located in various areas of the Muharraq governorate, causing a number of damages, such as blocking vision and obstructing traffic, congestion sometimes caused by customers as well as distorting the general aesthetic of the area.
Al-Muharraq Municipality further called on the violators to correct their situation and remove the violations as soon as possible, stressing that the Municipality will file a violation ticket and take the necessary measures against those who are caught breaking the law, pursuant to the Legislative Decree No. (2) of 1996.
