US Secretary of Defense Leaves Bahrain

Bahrain Mirror: The US Secretary of Defense James Matisse left Bahrain on Thursday (March 15, 2018) after an official one-day visit.
The Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported that Bahraini Defense Minister Yousuf Al-Jalahmeh was at the forefront of Bahraini officials bidding the US secretary farewell.
Matisse arrived in Manama on Wednesday as part of a Middle East tour and met with King Hamad bin Isa, Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad, Defense Minister Yousuf Al-Jalahmeh and Military Chief Khalifa bin Ahmed.
Matisse's assistant also met with Chief of Public Security Tariq Al-Hassan, who discussed "Iranian interference in Bahrain."
