Kidnapper Gets 12 Years and 6 Months in Jail for Snatching Baby from Her Mother’s Car in Al-Houra

Bahrain Mirror: The First High Criminal Court convicted a Bahraini who kidnapped a 5-year old girl while she was in her mother's car in Al-Houra and attempting to sexually harass her. The court sentenced him to 10 years in prison over charge of kidnapping her, depriving her of liberty, sexually harassing her and using the car. It also sentenced him to 1 years in jail over attacking a member in the security forces, 6 months in prison over stealing the mother's stuff and 1 year over drug abuse charge. Thus, the total sentences against the defendant reached 12 years and 6 months in prison. The court also fined the defendant 1000 BD and ordered the confiscation of seized items.
