US Congress Staff Delegation Visits Bahrain, Meets Justice Minister and Public Security Chief

Bahrain Mirror: A US Congress staff delegation met Justice Minister Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa and Chief of Public Security Tariq Al-Hassan.
An official statement said that Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa received the US delegation. During the meeting, the two sides reviewed "key issues of mutual interest, focusing on means of developing legal cooperation."
In the same context, photos published by Bahrain News Agency showed the US delegation in the "exhibition" supervised by the Ministry of Interior that claims its contents are items confiscated after arresting protestors in the country.
An official statement also said that Tariq Al-Hassan "briefed the delegation on the instances of terrorist acts against police personnel and focused on the Iranian role in working against the security of Bahrain and its continuing interference, financial and logistic support to terrorist groups and the smuggling of weapons and explosives into the Kingdom."
