King Hamad Hails Opening of UK Military Base in his Country

Bahrain Mirror: King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa received UK Prince Andrew, Duke of York, marking his visit to attend the official opening ceremony of the UK Naval Support Facility (NSF) at Mina Salman.
An official statement said that the king hailed the official opening of the UK Naval Support Facility (NSF) at Mina Salman in support of the efforts of the international counter-terrorism coalition, which includes around 60 countries, to protect free navigation and world trade and combat piracy, protect international maritime routes and bolster world stability and peace.
The King also commended the UK pivotal role played and positive contribution in serving regional and international security and stability amid current changes and challenges.
