Bahrain: Eight Days on Al-Ma’amir Village Siege

Bahrain Mirror- Exclusive: The security authorities continued the siege imposed on Al-Ma'amiŢ village resided by Shia majority.
The authorities continued to place cement barriers and checkpoint in front of the village's entrances, where they search people entering and leaving the village.
Al-Ma'amir is the second village to be besieged by the authorities, after Diraz village that has been under strict siege since June 2016.
Forces affiliated to the Interior Ministry target villages resided by Shia majority, through deploying checkpoints and raiding residents' houses.
