Parliamentary Proposal to Establish Center to Counter Cyber Attacks

Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini House of Representatives submitted a proposal on Tuesday (April 3, 2018) to the cabinet calling for the establishment of a Cyber Security Center in Bahrain in order to protect against exposure to online attacks of all kinds.
The aim of the proposal is to address hackers' attempts to penetrate the information technology networks of state agencies, monitor breaches and cyber threats as well as handle them before they occur, and activate the service for receiving user complaints and offer assistance to users in cases of security breaches, in addition to the center's awareness role.
