Bahrain Mirror: The First High Criminal Court sentenced two Asian women (20 and 25 years) to one-year imprisonment and ordered to deport them, once they complete their jail term, for attacking the bodily integrity of a member from security forces during performing her job.
The Public Prosecution accused the two women of attacking the bodily integrity of a member from security forces during performing her job and insulting her, as well as causing chaos in Samaheej police station.
A policewoman from Samaheej police station arrived to the center with the first suspect who was arrested over damaging case. As soon as the suspect entered, she caused chaos in the office and started to hysterically scream demanding to take off her handcuffs. The policewoman accompanying her took her out of the office.
Once she left the office, the suspect attacked the police and insulted her. As a number of policewomen interfered to control the suspect, her friend (second suspect) arrived and attacked the bodily integrity of number of policewomen and insulted them.
The police controlled the suspects and arrested the second suspect who videotaped the policewomen via her mobile and threatened them to publish their photos and videos on social media outlets.
