Bahrain Regrets Seizure of UAE Aircraft in Somalia

Bahrain Mirror: The Kingdom of Bahrain regrets that the security authorities in the Federal Republic of Somalia seized a private civil aircraft registered in the United Arab Emirates with 47 UAE troops at the Mogadishu International Airport, and the seizure of funds allocated to support the Somali army and trainees," a statement by the Foreign Affairs Ministry said.
It added that the Kingdom of Bahrain expresses its sincere appreciation for the constant support provided by the United Arab Emirates to the Federal Republic of Somalia, calling on the Somali government to cooperate with these efforts in the interest of achieving security, stability and prosperity for the brotherly Somali people.
