Bahrain Mirror: Photos published by Bahrain News Agency (BNA) showed that the Royal Court Minister, Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, and his brother, the Commander-in-Chief of Bahrain Defence Force Marshal Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, accompanied King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to Arab League Summit, held in the Saudi city of Dhahran.

Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and his brother Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa were showed sitting directly behind the king. Meanwhile, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and King's son Nasser bin Hamad, who was wearing his military suit, and the Minister of information Affairs Ali Al-Rumaihi sat behind them.

The Royal Court Minister Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, and his brother Commander-in-Chief of BDF Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa are rarely to accompany the king in his foreign visits.

Khalid bin Ahmed and his brother Khalifa bin Ahmed are nicknamed "Al-Khawalid" because they are descendants of their grandfather Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, brother of Bahraini ruler at that time Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa.
