Bahrain Introduces Women Police Traffic Patrols

Bahrain Mirror: Director-General of Traffic Abdulrahman bin Abdulwahab Al Khalifa announced the introduction of traffic patrols by Women Police. Its members have completed various training courses, including swift response and acting as bodyguards, in addition to carrying out multiple tasks that enable them to handle patrolling operations and other traffic law enforcement duties.
He said the patrols commenced operation during the hosting of the Bahrain Grand Prix Formula One and proved their effectiveness in regulating traffic leading to the Bahrain International Circuit.
