Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned the shooting incident which targeted a security checkpoint in Asir region, in Saudi Arabia, leaving a number of security servicemen dead, extending its deepest condolences and consolation to the bereaved families and relatives.

The ministry commended in a statement "the strenuous efforts exerted by the Saudi security forces to maintain security and stability for citizens and residents". Bahrain stressed its firm stance in support of Saudi Arabia against all forms of violence and extremism, backing all measures undertaken to deter anyone who attempts to subvert security and stability.
