Bahrain Mirror (Exclusive): A female Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) staff member revealed that the personal trainer of Military Commander Marshal Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and King's son Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who is a Filipino national, sexually harassed her, pointing out that she was punished after she reported him.
The female coach said in a recording, which did not have the chance to be investigated, that the trainer, who is in charge of a gymnasium at a club dedicated for military personnel, was boasting that he was the Marshal and Nasser bin Hamad's trainer the trainer.
She claimed that he has always harassed her verbally and urged her to have intimate relations with officers to guarantee her future career.
The female trainer, who said was from the Al-Dosari family, said the trainer invited her to his apartment, where he hosts parties attended by former officers as well as the director of the current officers' club, for the purpose of having a sexual relation with her.
"He went as far as feeling up my body twice [...] I filed a complaint against him in the military court, and reported him to the president of the officers' club who transferred him to the squash courtyard," she explained.
She further noted that the new president of the club returned the Filipino trainer to the gymnasium before calling and rebuking her. "This is your boss and you have to listen to his directions. I have known him for a long time and it is unlikely for him to say what you claim," he told her. He then told her to either comply with his orders or transfer her from her current job at the Officers' Club.
The Bahraini trainer said she had received psychological treatment at the Bahrain Defense Force Hospital as a result of what she had been subjected to, and said she still demands holding everyone involved accountable.
