Traffic Directorate: 17 Cars, 4 Motorcycles Seized since Onset of 2018 due to “Stunt Driving”

Bahrain Mirror: Director of Operations and Control at the General Directorate of Traffic Adel Al-Dosari asserted that the first quarter of the current year witnessed the registration of many stunt driving violations, in which 17 cars and four motorcycles were seized. He said that more traffic patrols had been deployed to tackle such dangerous practices and that severe measures are taken against the violators according to the law.
He explained in a radio program that in the same period, 33191 calls to report traffic accidents, jams and technical faults of vehicles and traffic signals, and inquiries were received, indicating that the department receives around 400 calls on a daily basis.
