Bahrain's Oil Production Decreased 2.4% Last Year

Bahrain Mirror: Al-Bilad daily said that Bahrain's oil production reached an average of 197276 barrel per day through 2017, indicating a decrease of 2.4% on terms of production average versus 2016 that recorded 202063 barrels per day.
According to the newspaper, the non-oil sector achieved a growth rate of 5% per year in a positive and clear exit from the 4% growth achieved in 2017.
GDP growth reached 3.9% last year, which is considered an improvement, according to the newspaper, compared with a growth rate of 3.2% recorded last year.
The economy expanded by 3.4 % in the last quarter of 2017, which is less than the 4% growth rate achieved in the first three quarters of the same year.
