Seminar in Washington on Defence Relations between Bahrain and America

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain Embassy in the United States organized a seminar on defence and security relations between the two countries, held at the residence of Bahrain's ambassador Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, in cooperation with the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS-Americas), based in Washington
The Bahraini ambassador affirmed on the strategy of defense and security partnership with the United States, stressing that the Bahraini-American relations are special, particularly in the military and security fields.
He stressed Bahrain's keenness on strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries, referring to the visit conducted by the Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa to Washington last November, which resulted in the signing of trade deals worth more than 10 billion US dollars and the extension of the defense cooperation agreement for 15 years.
The seminar was attended by many experts and enthusiasts from the US government, the US Department of Defense, think tanks, universities and companies.
The Kingdom of Bahrain, in cooperation with the International Institute for Strategic Studies, host the Manama Dialogue on an annual basis.
