Bahrain Mirror: U.S. President Donald Trump said that he will announce on Tuesday whether he will be pulling out of the Iran nuclear deal, which is earlier than the previous scheduled date of announcement on May 12.
The US president said he would announce his decision at 2 pm Washington time, 6 pm GMT.
Trump said that if European allies did not correct the terrible flaws in Tehran's nuclear deal with six world powers by May 12, he would refuse to extend the easing of US sanctions on Iran.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani warned Trump of withdrawing from the deal, saying in a televised speech broadcast on state television: "We have plans to react to any Trump decision on the nuclear deal... The U.S. is heading towards a historic regret if it withdraws from the nuclear agreement."
"The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran and the economic sector have been ordered to confront US plans against our country," he added.
Britain, France and Germany remain committed to the nuclear deal but, in an effort to keep Washington in the agreement, they want to hold talks on Iran's ballistic missile program and nuclear activities after 2025 and its role in Middle East crises such as Syria and Yemen.
